Job Details:
Our client, a well-known global PR firm, is looking to recruit a bubbly and keen person for a Media Relations role. The candidate will be liaising with broadcasters in his/her native language to pitch stories. It is a one-to-one and tailored relation which involves a first contact and follow up to finalize broadcasters' interest and meet their needs in order to achieve TV coverage. Requirements: - work experience in media (journalism, etc.), pr - excellent communications skills - pleasant telephone manner - good knowledge of Word, Excel - fluency in English and native German - thorough knowledge of the broadcast market in Germany The position is scheduled to start in February 2010 but final dates are not agreed yet. Rate: £11ph (incl. holiday pay) Work will take place on a temporary basis (potentially for a few weeks then ad-hoc basis).
